I want to thank everyone who has visited aginginaquarius.com over these past few weeks. I had no idea how much it would mean to me to hear from you.
I am excited to see what is revealed as I continue to listen carefully to what Spirit has in mind for me, for us, and this website.
There is so much societal agreement about what it means to ‘get old,’
that it is easy to line up behind those beliefs and look for proof that it is so. The doom and gloom inevitability about aging is of course, quite depressing. Here, we are charting new territory as we explore aging from a spiritual dimension. Spiritual maturity relies on an understanding of spiritual principles that connect us to the God qualities that are our very essence. This involves having a spiritual practice.
My intention is that each of us creates a strong, spiritual practice, uses our tools and shares how they work for us. No challenge or situation is ever too big or too small to bring to Spirit. As each individual practice is connected to all the others, we create a field of spiritual awareness as it relates to aging. This is the movement that is Aging in Aquarius.
Take a moment and take stock of your current spiritual practice. Is it what you want it to be? I know that sometimes when I am very busy and let my meditation go, I feel less connected to Spirit and therefore less centered and guided as I go through my day. When I notice the disconnect, I am reminded to return to my practice. And, I begin again.
Maybe this is a good time to take an inventory of how much time and energy you are devoting to a spiritual practice. Design it so it works for you. And then, stick to it! Whether you meditate for five minutes or an hour, your intention to connect and listen in the silence will be very beneficial. However you pray, your intention for guidance or a healing will support your life immeasurably. Journal to your heart’s content. Answers will come. Chant, read spiritually inspiring books, find a spiritual community, hug a tree. We are placing our lives in a spiritual lab where we can experiment with the tools and note the results.
No matter what the specifics are that may feel challenging, let’s make this the most interesting chapter of our lives. With the curiosity of a young child and the experience of our life so far, we can examine and explore this stage from a very large, spiritual vantage point and discover illuminating, spiritual solutions to everyday life.
