Open Up!

We are here to give love, aren’t we? Deep down, we know that beyond all of our individual gifts and talents, we are here to be a lover…a lover of God, and a lover of every brother and sister on the planet. Our natural impulse is to love…and when we do, we feel happy. Every loving thought has the power to open the heart’s door. Each loving action opens it even more.

Isn’t it time to open wide the floodgates of our hearts. Why not? The more love that gushes from us, the more we will receive. It’s the law. It must be so.

It is also evident from our day-to-day experience that every judgment we have has the power to shut the door on love. When we judge, we contract…we tighten up…we separate. It doesn’t matter whether the issue is big or small. Even the slightest annoyance at another shuts the door tight.

I think that recognizing the negative price we pay for our unloving thoughts is motivation enough to forgive them and let them go. Don’t you?

How do we let go? We turn within, and with the sincerity of a lover of Spirit, we go to that safe and loving place where we can release any and all pain and suffering that is blocking the door to Love. Now, with pure hearted intention and willingness we ask and the barrier is lifted. The door opens and there is the LOVE.

In that moment of letting go, the floodgates automatically open and we remember that we are Love. And we know that in the Oneness, giving and receiving are the same. All there is, is Love.

LOVE Who?

LOVE YOU!!

Affirmation: Today my ‘love door’ is wide open. I am a giver and receiver of Spirit’s Infinite Love.  Every moment is a blessing.

Unconditional Love has no age and no limits.
